Digital Camouflage Silhouettes (2011-2012)

This is a series of silhouettes using decorative handmade papers, and digital pattern used in the Army Combat Uniforms. These were made as paired sets using both the silhouette cut out, and the remnants left behind, matched up with similar paper. These were all created between October of 2011 through February 2012.

A place to show my work

After some debating, and basically arguing with myself, I decided to start a blog which will be a repository for my artwork, and the criticisms, thought processes and such. I have my other blog which I post my rants, raves, and opinions and I would like to keep that out of this. Being an art educator and spending a greater time helping other people find their voice, and constantly spending time looking at what other artists are doing  because it informs what and how I will teach. This consequently informs the artwork which I experiment with.
