30 Day Drawing Challenge - Day 9, Favorite TV Show - NCIS

I fell in love with Abby Sciutto, the Techno music loving, goth, forensic superstar who knows sign language from Louisiana. She's had the best lines in the show, and is the most loveable, caring, empathetic, kick-ass person I have seen on TV. And she will always be Gibbs's favorite.

30 Day Drawing Challenge - Day 8, Favorite Animated Character - Hiccup from the "How to Train Your Dragon" series

I identify with Hiccup in many ways, and have come to sometimes view him the way I felt in Basic Training and during my military service in terms of being a sort of outlier - A geeky, artsy, progressive in what is largely a world of would be warriors.

30 Day Drawing Challenge - Day 7, Favorite Word - Kindness

There's not enough of it in the world, and even I fail to live up to this every so often.....

30 Day Drawing Challenge - Day 6, Favorite Book Character that isn't a movie. Crowley from "Good Omens"

"Good Omens" by Neil Gaiman and Terry Prtachett is the funniest book on the Apocalypse I have read.
Turning the M25 into the mystic sigil of Odegra wins favorite vaguely evil, throughly irritating act of corruption.

30 Day Drawing Challenge - Day 5, Best Friend

There are several people I would consider Best Friends. We have been through too much together, and ranking them is agonizing. I went with the youth I have had the greatest opportunity to corrupt - my youngest brother.

30 Day Drawing Challenge - Day 2 - Favorite Animal

I struggled a bit on favorite animal if only because I kept going back an forth on a favorite animal. I'm a fan of pets, including dogs and cats. I like my chinese zodiac counterpart, the monkey. My longest running love affair though has been with tigers. I decided to keep it simple, and just go the old graphite and paper route.

Starting off the New Year with a 30 Day Drawing Challenge.

I'm starting off a 30 Day Drawing Challenge in order to keep my claws sharp.

My goal, and means of keeping me on track with this challenge is to have my drawing for the day posted before midnight the day of the challenge.
This is my drawing for the day.

I'm not particularly thrilled with the result, and at the end I felt like I was rushing for the sake of having the drawing complete rather than completing it for the satisfaction thereof. I'm sure I could have done much better, and in time I may revisit this.

EDIT: I am doing this challenge in tandem with a friend, and I was going off of the one she had picked. She had originally proposed the idea, and selected a challenge which was not as intimidating to other friends of hers who are non-artist types. I have amended this entry to reflect the format of the 30 Day Drawing Challenge.
